BGI Genomics Q1 Revenue Grows 20 Percent

The Chinese genomics company reported total revenue of CNY 808.7 million and a net loss of CNY 9.5 million.

BGI Genomics reported this week a 20 percent increase in its first quarter revenue, compared to the prior year.

For the three months ended March 31, BGI reported total revenue of CNY 808.7 million yuan, up from CNY 671.9 million a year ago.

The net loss for the quarter was CNY 9.5 million, or a loss of CNY 0.02 per share, compared to a loss of CNY 52.7 million, or CNY 0.13 per share in Q1 2025.

The company ended the quarter with CNY 1.60 billion in cash and cash equivalents.
