Natera, Germany’s Kupando Partner to Track ctDNA Dynamics in Phase 1 Skin Cancer Trial
The test will monitor circulating tumor DNA dynamics in Kupando Therapeutics' Phase 1 trial of KUP-101 in patients with advanced skin cancers.
Natera’s Latitude tissue-free assay for molecular residual disease will be used to monitor treatment response in a Phase 1 clinical trial of Kupando Therapeutics’ lead immunotherapy candidate in patients with advanced skin cancers.
Under the collaboration, announced Aug. 12, Latitude testing will provide circulating tumor DNA (ctDAN) dynamics at multiple timepoints as patients are treated with KUP-101.

KUP-101 from Germany-based Kupando is designed to activate the innate immune system and induce trained immunity. In a statement, Kupando said it has potential as a tissue-agnostic treatment across multiple solid tumor types, either alone or in combination with other therapies.
