Ultima Genomics Lands BaseClear as First European Certified Service Provider
The Dutch molecular services provider adds Ultima sequencing to Illumina, Oxford Nanopore, and Sanger sequencing offerings.
Netherlands-based genomics services provider BaseClear will offer sequencing services on Ultima’s UG200 Platform for customers across Europe, the companies announced July 29.
Under the agreement, BaseClear will become the first Ultima Certified Service Provider in Europe by offering an automated workflow spanning sample receipt, nucleic acid extraction, library preparation, sequencing and data delivery.
The companies said they’re targeting researchers as well as customers working in cell and gene therapy, vaccine development, and industrial biotechnology. Applications include biomarker discovery, pharmacogenomics, enzyme discovery, transcriptomics, single-cell analysis, whole-genome sequencing, and metagenomics.
