About Andrew P. Han
For over a decade, I’ve been reporting on the trends shaping research in biology: Crispr/Cas9, new sequencing technologies, spatial multiomics, and now, AI-based virtual cells. A veteran of GenomeWeb, with additional bylines at Science, Wired, Newsweek, and other publications, I have always strived to inform my readers not only what’s happening by why it’s important.
With Ion Genomics, I’ll continue my work and be able to offer more direct access to my reporting the process behind it. At the center of this will be a podcast, where I’ll go deeper with the leading figures in genomics, explore other stories in biological research, and provide analysis on the business and policy moves impacting tomorrow’s science.
